The Locals Choice - The Blue Bridge Hotel
(About 5 minutes walk out of the city from Fishergate Bar)
Although not in the city, The Blue Bridge hotel does offer easy access to all the sights that York has to offer. The hotel offers several different breaks, for which you will get a room with en suite, tea and coffee making facilities and breakfast. The hotel is not of a particularly high standard, but the rooms are clean and the food is well-cooked. The restaurant on site is currently closed and the downstairs bar is not non-smoking, however on the whole the atmosphere in the hotel is friendly.
