Scouting For Girls are still a relatively new band, which is difficult to believe with the amount of exposure they have had over the last year. Until last Summer they were still making their own badges for fans, how things change in music.
They received backing from major names in radio, most notably Scott Mills. They specialise in a happy pop sound. Their music isn't complicated and its this that has led to their success. Without if wanting to you will find their songs catchy, almost infectious. It would be fair to label it happy pop. Roy Stride brings a comical element to their songs by incorporating his childhood dreams and fantasies , hence songs about Michela Strachen.
The work ethic of the band is amazing. When most bands tour they tend to just to do one sets of dates not Scouting For Girls, they are now on a second British tour in 6 months.
