Radiohead
Radiohead are one of the best known British alternative rock bands of recent times. They formed at a Oxfordshire public school in 1986. They have, since their very first single Creep, been making people sit up and take notice.
They have a sound that has always varied from the normal, they have always shunned the normal. Thom Yorke has a unique vocal; that is akin to Marmite but it has stood them in good stead.
Their third album OK Computer regularly features high in polls of all time greatest albums. That album made them accessible to a whole new wider audience, this is what they do; they change slightly and pick up more admirers.
Never afraid of being different they allowed the fans decide how much they wanted to pay for In Rainbows. Always finding a way to keep themselves and their music in the spotlight this is what has kept Radiohead going for so long.
