Kelly Clarkson was born in Texas in 1982. She could be described as having lived ultimate Cinderella story going from waitress to global superstar. She is quite possibly the most successful reality TV star of all time. In 2002 she won the first series of American Idol and nothing has held her back since.

The initial releases after her victory unsurprisingly were very popular, but unlike her contemporaries she followed that up. Not only a gifted singer she has the ability to write her songs and has done this on many occasions. Her second album was when she decided she wanted to take control of her career and break from the shackles of reality TV success. Such a move could of been professional suicide for some artists but Kelly Clarkson's fanbase actually grew, showing natural talent still does need a helping hand on occasion.

Aside from her singing she has also dabbled in acting, a lady of many talents. She has now done enough for history to remember her career and not how it started.
