Frank Turner

Frank Turner was born in Bahrain but spent the majority of his childhood in Winchester, very much his spiritual home. Although only 26 years old he has already had a long varied career.
He started over 10 years ago in now defunct Punk / Screamo band Million Dead; this could be said to be Franks angry period, rebellion and protest through the medium of music. Million Dead came to their end and at this point Frank Turner had already started taking his next steps in his development as an artist and an inspiration to others.
He is now firmly established as one of the foremost progressive folk singers in the country, each song he writes is based on his experiences and his feelings; he puts everything into perspective and his music is a journey for the listener.
He has toured America and Europe extensively, recently finishing a UK tour to promote his second solo album Love, Ire and Song . The album is very much a life affirming record, so many lessons learnt; so much more to do.
Music has never been more intelligent and thought worthy than when written by Mr Turner.
