Aimee Anne Duffy has made the whole music world sit up and take note in the last few months. The young lady from Wales has inevitably drawn comparisons to the other Amy but she is very much her own character.

Her music draws on many sounds from the 60's and brings them into the 21st century. Most music professionals have been determined to box her retro sound and consequently she has been tagged 'the new Dusty Springfield'. That sort of tag gives you an idea of much talent she has. Mercy, her second single secured her first number 1. She has teamed up with former Suede guitarist Bernard Butler to write her début album. Butler and his musical partner David McAlmont form part of her band, this proves how much respect she has already acquired.

Currently she is playing sell out gigs across the country. The few that are lucky enough to have secured tickets are in for a treat. As her official website address states she is Duffy, no one else.
