Birmingham is a bustling City and provides entertainment for both the day and the evening. At Insiders Guides we have selected some of the best sights and attractions for you to see on your visit.

During the day

The Cadbury Factory Cadbury World
Found in Bournville, a short train ride from Birmingham city centre, Cadbury World is the place to be if you love all things chocolaty. The tour gives a history of the Cadbury company & gives a insight into the art of making chocolate. The best bit is at the end of the tour where you can also sample freshly made chocolate Mm-mm.

The Bull Ring
The Bull Ring Shopping Centre is the in the heart of Birmingham City Centre. With over 160 shops, you can shop 'til you drop! If the Bull Ring doesn't have enough shops, there are plenty in the centre and the indoor markets, which have a wide variety of fruit, vegetables, meat and other items.

Sealife Centre National Sea Life Centre
A short walk from the city centre, the National Sea Life Centre houses a variety of sea and fresh water creatures. Along with watching the otters you can visit the one million litre tank containing green sea turtles, reef sharks & tropical fish of all different varieties. Not the sight you would expect in the centre of the country but is a wonderful half day out.

In the evening

Symphony Hall Music and Theatre
Although not only open in the evenings the Symphony Hall and Repertory Theatre can both be found just off Brindley Place. Providing a variety of music and theatre, these are both worth a visit, but we would suggest booking before you come to avoid disappointment.

The Silver Screen
Birmingham has several cinemas across the city. In the centre you can find an Odeon cinema. At the far end of Broad Street there is a Cineworld cinema and the AMC cinema. At Millennium point, you will also find an IMAX theatre showing various films throughout the year.
