Although Birmingham has all the major chain restaurants, it has a few locally run ones too which provide a great choice. Here are a few of our favourites Del Villaggio - Broad Street, Birmingham A traditional Italian restaurant set in the entertainment heart of Birmingham. Del Villaggio provides a wide range of Italian treats for a special night out. La Bastille - Corporation Street, Birmingham A slice of French cuisine in the heart of England, La Bastille offers a range of french favourites. If you choose one of the set menus, the food is good value for money. Ipanema - Broad Street, Birmingham Ipanema offers a posh restaurant and bar atmosphere serving pub food with a spanish twist. Probably not the best for food, it provides a good atmosphere for a night out. If you fancy looking for somewhere off the beaten track, there are plenty of curry houses a short train ride away in Selly Oak. If you take the train to either 'University' station or 'Selly Oak' station and walk to Bristol Road you will find a great choice of traditional Indian Restaurants. |
